This work from 2015 is dedicated to the 50-year history of C.F. Maier and the 90-year anniversary of the aluminum foundry that Christian Maier, the great-grandfather of the current management, once founded in Schnaitheim. It is an anniversary book of its own kind: open, self-critical and always exciting.

The painter Otto Neubrand

The subject of this book is the outstanding painter Otto Neubrand (1911 - 1975), who worked in Königsbronn during the last 15 years of his life. Neubrand, known for his naturalistic landscape paintings, watercolors and etchings, created impressive works whose motifs ranged from the Swabian Alb to the Alps and northern Italy. His idyllic views of places, floral still lifes and portraits made him famous far beyond the region. This book is the third in the series about personalities from the region, which was commissioned by the Maier family of entrepreneurs. It was published in 2012.

Paul Gnaier, the Heidenheim fencing legend

This book pays tribute to Paul Gnaier (1926 - 2013), the most successful German epee fencer of the 1950s and 1960s. Despite losing his right hand as a child, Gnaier achieved outstanding sporting success and made a significant contribution to the development of fencing in Heidenheim. As president of the Württemberg Fencing Association, he established his home town as a central center of excellence. The C.F. Maier group of companies presented this work in 2010 as part of its series on important personalities in the region.

Erich Herter - painter and inventor

This work is dedicated to the life and work of Erich Herter (1920 - 1991), an outstanding painter from Schnaitheim, who made a name for himself with impressionist portraits and landscapes. His later abstract graphics in a unique oil and palette knife technique gained international recognition. In addition to his artistic activities, Herter was a passionate inventor whose technical ideas were often ahead of their time. As an outstanding personality from the Ostalb region, the C.F. Maier family of entrepreneurs dedicated this book to him in 2008.
