Commitment

Social commitment is firmly anchored in C.F. Maier's corporate philosophy. We assume responsibility beyond our business activities by supporting educational projects, university partnerships, local associations and organizations as well as programmes to promote technical professions and plastics processing. Our commitment underpins our role as a future-oriented group of companies and enables us to live up to our social responsibility.

Racing team

Formula Student is an international competition in which student teams develop and evaluate racing cars. The E-Motion racing team from Aalen University has been taking part with electric vehicles since 2012 and won 1st place in the “Cost Analysis” in Italy in 2019. Main sponsor C.F. Maier supports the team financially and professionally.

Cooperation with universities and colleges

C.F. Maier is a recognized partner of universities and colleges, contributing its expertise in plastics and fiber composite technologies to research projects. As an industrial partner, we support the development of innovative solutions and the implementation of challenging projects. The collaboration includes modern production technologies and expertise in product development and prototype construction. Through close cooperation and knowledge exchange, C.F. Maier promotes scientific progress and the practical training of students.

Vacation programs for children

C.F. Maier is actively involved in promoting young talent and offers annual programs that give children and young people an insight into working life. One highlight is the summer holiday program, where children from the region have the opportunity to get hands-on in the C.F. Maier workshop. Under expert guidance, they experiment with materials, design their own pieces and playfully discover the basics of plastics processing.

Girls' Day

Equally important is Girls' Day, which offers girls exciting insights into technical professions in which they have previously been underrepresented. During this day of action, they experience production processes at first hand and learn about various processes and machines for plastics processing. These initiatives not only promote technical understanding and manual skills, but also arouse interest in STEM professions at an early stage, support career guidance and help to break down traditional gender roles in career choices.
