In 1960, C.F. Maier began using fibreglass, a material almost unknown at that time. This made the company a pioneer in developing efficient processes for fibreglass production that have since become extremely important. Since the mid-80s, C.F. Maier also processes polyurethane into flexible and rigid moulded parts, semi-rigid moulded parts with integral skin, and compact parts. At the same time, the production of long produced thermoform parts has been started.

C.F. Maier takes a leading position in all the applied production processes.
